Christmas Photos

We are running alittle behind this year on oh everything. I have not been able to get the girls still long enough to take my Christmas photos. I was still not very successful with getting one with all three girls. After several hours of crying, screaming and a whole lot of hair pulling this is what we got.

Our Big Girl Learns to Shoot

Don't Worry Its a BB Gun!
Macey listens patiently while her daddy gives her the does and don't about guns and how to make sure she is always safe.
Macey done really good and done exactly what her daddy told her to do. The only problem was she could not figure out how to close one eye and keep the other one open.
Our big girl shoots by herself.

Two little Monkey's in a Tree

When the girls got done helping with the stable they dedided to try to climb the trees in the yard. The one up top they done pretty good with by themselves. The bottom one they had some help from a third monkey.

First Accomplishment since 2nd Shift

Last year Macey decided that we needed a baby Jesus stable in our yard. We promised her we would build her one this year. But as time does to all of us Christmas has slipped up on us and we still did not have the stable built. Marc started working on it around Thanksgiving and them he went to second shift (needless to say we have not found a groove there yet). But Saturday it was pretty enough that the girls were able to help daddy finish it before he left for work.
Macey is trying to teach Makinley how to hammer in the nail. Amazingly no one got hurt.
Daddy put on the finishing touches.

Macey's Christmas Party

On Friday Macey's class had their Christmas Party at Mega Skate. Every third friday of the month we go skating and it fell that skate day was also party day. It worked out great we had pleanty of room for the kids to run and play and just have fun.
Jaylee, Macey and Olivia take a break from skating and pose for the camera.

Time for Gifts!

These sweet kids set very patiently in a circle waiting for Mrs. Brooks to hand out their Christmas presents.
Macey drew Olivia's name at school and she chose to get her a Barbie set with 1 barbie and a whole bunch of clothes. Hope her mom don't shoot me.
Olivia drew Macey's name and picked out a really cool pair of fuzzy socks and lots of coloring stuff.

Makinley Christmas Party

Parents did not get to attend the 2 year olds Christmas Party so I don't have any pictures. But she said the sweetest thing that I wanted to share with everyone. When she got home she was asleep and Marc laid her down and when she woke up he was already gone to work. I asked her if she had fun at her party and she said yes and my daddy picked me up. Then I asked her what the best part of the party was and she said when my daddy picked me up.

Talk about a daddy's girl, this one defined it.

Breakfast With Santa

Monday morning the 3 and 4 year olds got to have breakfast with Santa. The girls really get to do some cute things with the school. You could bring as many people as you want you just had to pay for your biscut. Makinley and Maddie got to go too, I thought I was going to have to break line for Maddie to get to sit on Santa's lap. She would scream HO HO HO as loud as she could.
Nothing scary about Santa to these girls. They just need to tell him what to leave under the tree. Macey always tells him what she wants but does not forget to tell him to bring mom and dad a new TV.
I was tring to get a picture of Macey and a few of her friends and Kinley thought she was just as big as they are. Olivia is in the red and Jaylee is in the pink. After this picture Macey and Olivia decided they needed to ride together on the way back to school. When Jaylee found out she had to go too. Olivia's poor dad had to go clean out the back seat in his truck so he could get them all in. Poor Kinley thought she was going to get to go too, she was jumping around with all the girls and headed out the door.

Kids Christmas Program at Church

Our baby girl is growing up so fast. She was such a big girl Sunday night and sang all the songs and blew kisses to the crowd. We worked very hard for the past couple of weeks to learn all the verses to Away in a Manager and Silent Night. The other girls could read them but she knew them by heart and she was so excited.
If you look close you can see Makinley holding the star way up high. Her job was to hold up the star when Seth read a poem about the star. However, our angel decided she need to hold the star. Kinley did not take to kindly to this decision and the more Laura tried to get it the higher in the air the star got.
If you could hear what was going on in this picture it would be the angel screaming at Makinley to "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!" Seth was a very good sport and never stopped reading through the whole thing.
Our sweet little Maddie got to be the gift.
She stayed on stage just long enough for Seth to read about the best Christmas Gift.

Our Sweet Little Mary!

This year our church had a float in Albertville, Boaz and Guntersville Christmas Parades. Macey was Mary and insisted on battling the cold weather to be at all three. The picture is not very good but with trying to make sure she had on enough clothes I forgot the camera and Granna had to take this picture from afar (she was holding Maddie so she had lots of help too).
The float won 3rd place in the Boaz Parade and 1st place in the Guntersville Parade. The winnings from the float totaled $300 and the church choose to sponser a family in need for the Christmas season. We do not make the float to win, we simply want to spread the true meaning of Christmas to someone who might otherwise never hear it.

Ruler of the Roost

Now that Daddy has gone to 2nd shift we are having a hard time finding a new groove. Mom forgot to clear the table from our soup supper and while mom was taking care of the other girls Maddie decided to help herself to what was left on the table. Obviously getting on top of the table is no contest in fact getting anywhere she wants to go is no contest.

Thanks to the Shell's and Emma's Favorite part of Athens

Marc and I would like to say thanks to Jason, Lissa and Emma for a wonderful weekend getaway. They opened up their home to us and our girls and made us feel right at home. Thanks for the help with the girls when we were out and about they had an absolute blast and are ready to come back (preferably right now).

Below are pictures of the girls playing at a play ground in Athens. The girls loved it and the parents were give out by the time we convinced them to leave.
Macey and Makinley tackle walking the rope first thing. Macey went across the monkey bars with no problem so Kinley decided to give it a try. Here she is hanging on for dear life. We later figured out that Macey was tall enough to touch the ground and the bars.
Maddie's favorite part of the playground was this bouncing bridge. I think she would have stayed there all day.
I am not sure if Macey and Emma had a favorite part or not. They did not slow down running long enough to get many pictures.
On the way out we managed to get all of the tired little girls to pose once for a picture all together.

Visit to the Shell's in Athens, GA

On Sunday before we headed out we just had a leasure morning letting the girls play for a while. They were so silly and had so much fun.
Sunday afternoon we went to the mall for a late lunch and Macey watched a little girl jump and decided that she needed to do it too! I really never thought she would actually go through with it but she was our big girl and she had a blast.
This picture is a little blury but you can tell more about how high she would jump.

Decorating Cookies in Mrs. Clause's Kitchen

Decorating cookies might have been the hit of the evening. It had got so crowded that it was really hard to move in the kitchen area. Emma went to paint while we got started on our cookies.
Maddie did not need a cookie she just wanted to rub her hands in the sprinkles and lick her hands.
Kinley loaded her cookie up with sprinkles and icing. She ate all the icing off and told Mommy to eat the cookie.
Macey is so intense when it comes to doing stuff like this. She has to make sure everything is so perfect.
Emma looks on while her Daddy gets her cookie.

Letters to Santa!

While we were in Santa's Den we could write Letters to Santa and put them in the mail drop they had set up beside the table. Maddie did not write a letter cause it had gotton so crowded by this time we did good to get a piece of paper for the other girls.
Makinley puts her letter in the mail. She asked Santa to bring her a bike and a baby.
Macey ask Santa to bring her a Barbie Doll House, Bike, Amazing Allison and a TV for Mommy and Daddy so she can have hers back.
Emma putting her letter in to Santa.
